I hope I’m Going to wake up from this nightmare any minute now and wont be able to even post this. Apparantly, Taylor where is her Mom(sen) has been named the new face of the John Galliano Perfume. As in Spend a Penny and get Little Jenny [for a night]?
Careful Johnny, she might not want to wear pants.
Hopefully waking up now.
Xoxo
Ps. If anyone can fix this hot mess up its John Galliano.
Gucci always knows how to do it. Frankly, there’s nothing special about it and yet it looks so unbelievably, ridiculously, and fabulously artistic. These shots are just overflowing with sexy. Now, I’m off to a Gucci store. Not even kidding.
I’m a sucker for designer accessories, and obviously clothes. Theres no doubt in my [or anyone else that knows me, as a matter of fact] that designer items are my first love. If I had a million dollars, other than donating, I would spend it all on designer accessories or designer clothing.
This year i simply drooled over all the faboosh collections available to humankind. At the end of this page I will recap a few favs from 2010. 2011 is by far faborgasmical. My favs [not in order, because i couldnt choose] are:
1. Chris Benz
2. Celine
3. Burberry Prorsum
4. Givenchy
5. Gucci
6. Erin Fetherson
7. J Mendel
8. Lanvin
9. Louis Vuitton
10. Marchesa
*EDIT* [i have to...]
11. Herve Leger by Max Azria
What are some of your favs?
To quickly sum up most of the others:
DKNY
DKNY was super cute, wearable (a tiny bit too safe) but very cute. A few peices Herve Leger by Max Azria did that were to DIE for, actually i think it should be added to my favs. Herve Leger by Max Azria is a fav. Super bright sexy bandage dresses, mezmerising graphic prints with a hint of sport-ish to some peices [not necesarilly to be worn with sneakers, or how about not at all?]
Best of Resort 2011
Some FABO peices by Malandrino. Haider Ackerman’s concept for the dresses was a little genius, i might say.
Diane Von Furstenburg, Marc Jacobs: very very cute. Badgely Mischka’s Resort 2011 collection, i thought, was génial. I was going to put this into my favs but it just didnt make it.
Emilio Pucci i liked a lot. I really enjoyed the collection. Giambattista Valli: some nice peices.
Jason Wu: cute collection.Practically drooled all over Monique Lhuillier’s Resort ’11. Moschino did alright. Not complaining. Moschino Cheap & Chic was MUCH MUCH better, i thought. Some VERY Chic peices. Naeem Khan had some peices i really really want. Nina Ricci: Cute, worth checking out.
Organic john patrick sweet but too much casual. Oscar De La Renta, Richard Nicoll, : like.
Preen, Sonia Rykel, and Stela Mcartney Fabu. Mcartney was my fav out of these three…think A-list garden parties/weddings. Rykel’s collection was Côte d’Azur inspired, and i thought it was very well done. Think Gossip Girl. Proenza Schouler absolutely genius i was this close to buying the whole line along with the models to model them in my suitcase on my vacation to Cabo San Lucas… and this – - close to adding it to my favs. How many favorites can you have again? All I can remeber about Rachel Roy is that horrible orange [sorry!sorry! i despise that 'colon-cleanse' looking color] I usually adore her stuff though especially, i remember, her spring 2010 RTW.
Reem Acra: Some simply devine peices. Temperly London was ferosh medieval style, Xena the fashionable princess! I actually liked it alot very wearable very fresh.
Ladies and Gentle Men! The one! The only! Miss Vera Wang! Never, and i mean, never disappoints me. You know thet feeling a fat kid gets when thinking about a really great cake? When i think about Vera Wang [No i dont want to eat her dresses...] I want to swim in a pool of her designs; and try each and every one of them on.
I was suprised to find myself unforced to mention Yigal Arouzel in my resort 2011 review. Mostly, dues to the fact that his collection was something i would probably wear on a daily basis to go to the mall or even a brunch date. I found this “looking-good-is-effortless” style to be very catchy to the eye. Spice it up with a louboutin and im outttt. LOVED THIS ONE. I think it might even be a fav. Definitely one of Yigal’s groupies now *wink wink*
I was impressed with some of these stunning peices by YSL. Very 70′s but not wild 70′s very elegant chic 70′s.
Valentino [as usual] with SO many GORGEOUS peices. It was classy with an edge that just made my jaw drop to the ground.
I hate to say it but rag and bones looks like bones in rags, I expected more. What do you think? To Be Honest, I was a little disappointed to find some very monotone collections, however the simple brilliance of resort 2011 in general kept me going with this very short review with all the resort collections that are worth checking out.
I was recently going through some emails and i had a lot of questions about what I thought is the best fashion clothing. Thats when my mind started to scramble; I wanted to give a solid answer, to be honest while my mind was scrambling I figured my answer was probably going to be “Anything Karl Lagerfeld so that led me to going through pictures of mine and I came across the Dior Autumn/Winter 2010 fashion show [my pictures were pretty hideous sitting in the millionth row to be honest... This was one of my favorite collections from Dior.
What is considered the best fashion clothing?Couture 2007
That led me to go online and watch a few of my all time fabulous favs. I went all the way through Fall 2007 Couture. Let me assure you thats a ‘butte’ load of runway shows. However, this collection made me realize there was no such thing as the best fashion clothing. No such thing at all. The different elements put together so creatively: everytime, every collection, every brand.
So here is my answer dear readers: There is no such thing as best fashion clothing. Why? because the beauty is in the style of the beholder.
The reason I reached this “conclusion”, [which im sure a whole lot of other fashionista'd would agree] My wardrobe is filled with various designers, and i never wear one desgner within an outfit. Sure, I have more of one designer than the other, but that doesnt mean they have the best fashion clothing, that means their collection just happened to appeal to my fabulous sense of style *wink wink*. Dont look for the best fashion clothing; Fashion comes after style.
